I have taken a while to blog...... just finished repainting little Lucinda's bookcase in hot pink and she loves it as she can now access her all important "books".

ALSO I have been consumed with making sweet little heart brooches. I love them and wear my own little woven ribbon heart all the time. Take a look.

It's been so long since I last posted. I have been a busy, busy bee making all my vintage denim shorts for kids. Lots to show you today........

But first how cute are these bamboo shelves?I found them on the street and intend to strip back and paint a vibrant pink. No I haven't been busy trawling the streets looking for deceased furniture but I do love a great find for FREE!!.Plus I love reviving furniture that looks like it's got nothing left to give.

Will keep you updated as to how the shelves progress. Don't you just love cane furniture?

DENIM SHORTS

I have been making funky new ribbon patches by hand and they are pretty and funky....time consuming to make but thoroughly worth it.

Have to admit I am going to have to make a pair for myself they are so cute. Let me know if you would like a pair too mum and I can custom make a pair for you. I can also custom make any colours you would like for your child too.

Here are some samples...

Lu Lu Likes Jewellery

Baby Lu Lu - Muse, Designer-Me and Hubby have just landed back in Sydney after a glorious trip to Thailand.

Thailand...irreverent design, rich colour, lush texture and dazzling opulence. All the local architectural, jewellery and clothing designers' work, both old and new;  is alive with this vibrancy. A very exciting design frontier!!!

New Lu Lu Likes This jewellery is coming out in time for Spring/Summer 09 and Lu Lu and I are very excited.We look forward to the sunny weather and I hope my new line of necklaces brings some Lu Lu sunshine to your life.

Here are samples of my first season of necklaces.

All my necklaces are handmade by braiding one continuous piece of french cotton featuring freshwater pearls, howlite, coral, jade and glass beads.



This necklace features a leaf pendant in howlite on hot pink thread. Pearls, green and pink jade with splashes of howlite beads complete the effect.








A beautiful necklace using red cotton featuring blue hearts, pearls and stunning red beads, completed by a coral rose or butterfly pendant.
